Scales Noir - Fantasy Noir Project - Keyframes + Character Design
Storyboard/Keyframing and character design for a Fantasy Noir project. I combined a lot of different themes here, I think you can see the steampunk elements I put in to tie the fantasy and noir together. Establishing a running set of events between the shots was interesting, especially with trying to balance the visual elements and keep it looking good. Wonder what happened to the lady?
Frame 1 - Wide shot of the topside city
Frame 2 - We're not in that lovely city, we're in a run-down street below and this lady is not having a good time
Frame 3 - Drow approaches the detective's door, clutching her wound
Frame 4 - Said detective, nursing his hangover in his office
Frame 5 - Someone's opening the door?!
Frame 6 - It's the drow!
Frame 7 - she collapses onto the ground, barely making it inside
Frame 8 - ...But what's this in her hand?
